A diferencia de otras grasas, la mayoría de los &lt;a href="http://www.foodsafety.gov/~dms/stransfa.html"&gt;ácidos grasos trans &lt;/a&gt;se forman cuando aceites líquidos se convierten en grasas sólidas como en la elaboración de frituras (shortening) y margarina sólida. Sin embargo, hay pequeñas cantidades de ácidos grasos trans de manera natural en algunos alimentos, especialmente de origen animal. Esencialmente, los ácidos grasos trans aparecen cuando se agrega hidrógeno a los aceites vegetales, proceso llamado hidrogenación. Pero yo estoy haciendo referencia al &lt;/em&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.nuevaalejandria.com/archivos-curriculares/ciencias/nota-010.htm"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;font-size:78%;color:#ff6666;"&gt;&lt;em&gt;elemento Hierro (Fe)&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:78%;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff9900;"&gt;,&lt;/span&gt; que es un constituyente muy importante en los organismos que lo utilizamos, por ejemplo, como componente de la Hemoglobina, para transportar gases en sangre (Oxígeno, y en menor proporción, de Dióxido de Carbono). Debemos incorporarlo con los alimentos, el organismo mantiene una reserva hepática, y su carencia desencadena patologías que alteran el buen funcionamiento de nuestro cuerpo.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:78%;"&gt;
